Rooted in the Piipaash (Pee-Posh)/Maricopa & Akimel Oʼodham/Pima people’s long history as innovators of desert agriculture, students learn to care for the land through gardening, stewardship practices, and hands-on outdoor learning that connects science, culture, and community.
